We want you to find a new way to enjoy your alcohol-free drinks, by pairing them with food! After all, drinking – whether it’s alcohol or no alcohol – is all about enjoying the entire experience. We’ve been busy curating some delicious cocktails, made using exciting mixers from Double Dutch, and pairing them with some vibrant flavours like sweet pineapple, fresh watermelon, spicy chilli jelly, and fiery chocolate covered ginger.
Try serving the food as canapés, using these brilliant edible (and sustainable) spoons from Stroodles. They also make edible pasta straws, which we can’t get enough of.
Here are a few to get you started…
Caleño Bloody Zesty
Pour Caleño Light And Zesty 40ml over ice in a shaker
Add Sugar Syrup 5ml, Lime Juice 15ml and 2 slices of chilli
Top with Double Dutch Bloody Mary Soda with Pepper to top up
Garnish with coriander leaf/spring, and a slice of red chilli
Snack for spoon: Chilli jelly
Caleño Spice and all things nice
Pour 50ml Caleño Dark & Spicy over ice
Add 15ml Yuzu Citrus Syrup and 10ml fresh lime juice
Top up with Double Dutch Ginger Beer
Snack for spoon: Pineapple chunk
New Year Spritz
Fill a wine glass with ice and 50ml of Caleño Light & Zesty
Top up with Double Dutch Cucumber and Watermelon Mixer
Garnish with a Cucumber Ribbon
Snack for spoon: Watermelon cube
Winter Highball
Pour 50cl Caleño Dark & Spicy over ice
Squeeze half a lime of lime juice
Top with Double Dutch Ginger Ale
Snack for spoon: Chocolate coated ginger
