ROLE OVERVIEW

Job Role: Brand Ambassador

Reporting to: Event Manager

Location: UK Remote (ideally London based)

Salary Package:  Competitive (plus brand merch & expenses)

Role Mission: We are looking for fun-loving Brand Ambassadors to join our team on a contract basis for the summer, to help us spread joy across the country. As an extension of our team, you’ll receive full training on what it takes to bring Caleño to life.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE WITHIN CALEÑO?

  • Support the Event Manager in delivery of our summer event calendar from May to August 2022
  • Be available for training at the end of April 2022
  • Wooing consumers – getting as many sample of our delicious cocktails out as you can
  • Engaging and entertaining – you’ll need to be super chatty
  • Confident and talented – we’re keen to meet people with a secret talent!
  • Drive the brand vehicle from site to site where necessary
  • Setting up and packing down at each event
  • Supporting with stock management

Job Role: Event Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Location: UK Remote (ideally London based)

Salary Package:  Competitive (plus phone bill contribution & expenses)

Role Mission: We are looking for a superstar Event Manager to join our team on a contract basis for the summer, to help us spread joy across the country. As an extension of our team, you’ll receive full training on what it takes to bring Caleño to life.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE WITHIN CALEÑO?

  • Spreading the joy of Caleño across the UK throughout this summer
  • Be ready to hit the ground running with bags of energy
  • Lead brand activation across calendar From May to August, primarily Wednesday to Sunday each week
  • Be available for training at the end of April
  • Drive brand vehicle from site to site, plus basic install and derig duties
  • Manage inventory, Health & Safety and general event administration
  • Onsite trouble shooting and last minute planning
  • Inspire and manage onsite team
  • Daily briefing and reporting
  • The role will include weekend working, time given in lieu

Job Role: Trade Marketing Manager

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Location: UK home based (mobile with the ability to spend time at our Bristol head office)

Salary Package:  Competitive (+ Pension, Bonus and Private Healthcare)

Role Mission: Take the reigns on how Caleño wows UK consumers in our key sales channels, working to both brand and commercial goals. Working as the bridge between our marketing and sales teams, you will be executing world-class trade marketing plans with our retail partners and on-trade customers too.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE WITHIN CALEÑO?

  • Own Trade Marketing for the brand – manage annual plans alongside the day to day
  • Create world-class brand assets for trade and consumer
  • Execute serve strategy within our sales channels with ruthless consistency
  • Lead suppliers supporting on trade marketing – own the relationships and ensure we get the most out of them
  • Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns
  • Create toolkits to support rollout of trade marketing projects

Job Role: Key Account Manager (On Trade)

Reporting to: Head of On Trade

Location: London, field based

Salary Package:  Competitive (+ Pension, Bonus and Private Healthcare)

Role Mission:

We are looking for an ambitious Key Account Manager who wants to be part of our exciting start-up journey from the very beginning. You will be responsible for driving new growth in the on-trade. Engaging a commercial mindset and harnessing your entrepreneurial spirit. This is a field-based role, but preference is to be based within relatively close proximity to London.

Your key objectives are to win new business within the On-trade, optimise sales, build great relationships and activate the brand amazingly. You will be a true ‘Brand Advocate’ and will be responsible for bringing the bar tender community on the journey of ‘Low and No’ spirits!

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE WITHIN CALEÑO?

  • Your primary focus is to win new business, secure menu listings and drive distribution, visibility and rate of sale.
  • You will be responsible for educating and training bar staff.
  • Utilising key contacts within your network you will create new business opportunities within the channel and establish a broad and diverse customer base.
  • You will manage key relationships with our existing account base and will ensure that our marketing activity translates into the On-Trade.
  • As an expert within the wider spirits category, you will share category trends and insights to facilitate decision making, best practice and product ranging, leading to a greater presence for our brand.
  • Ensure product availability and accessibility across your account base.

IN YOUR DNA

  • Fantastic communicator and someone who can share Ellie’s amazing story and get the trade excited and engaged to be partnering with Caleño.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify sales/ brand opportunities.
  • A great team player and someone who is willing to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up when required.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and driven is also crucial if a candidate is to flourish in this space.

YOUR MINDSET

  • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of brand building with the ability to balance commercial delivery.
  • Commercially curious and someone who enjoys learning and stretching themselves.
  • The ability to develop new business is essential to this role as our on-trade business expands.

THE NITTY GRITTY SKILLS

  • Essential – Previous on-trade experience across independent, multiple and national accounts.
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years business experience and a proven track record of working on some of the key areas listed.
  • Experience working with a spirit’s brand.
  • Previous work within a start-up environment is beneficial, but not essential.
